Daniel Roth

The winner of the Special Jury Prize at CH24 Watch of the Year is Daniel Roth – one of the most outstanding watchmakers in history, with over 50 years of experience in the watchmaking industry, expressed through his work on great complications such as the torubillon with an 8-day power reserve, the perpetual calendar or the Westminster repeater with four gongs. He linked his professional career mainly with Breguet manufacture, and in 2001 created his own brand Jean-Daniel Nicolas. Currently, the company bearing Daniel Roth name belongs to the LVMH group and faithfully cultivates the master’s watchmaking achievements and unique style.
