G.F.J. Calibre 135 Double Signed

The winner in the most traditional category of the CH24 Watch of the Year reminds us that the beauty of classical watchmaking lies in combining elements into an exquisite timepiece. With the G.F.J. collection, Zenith pays tribute to the legacy of its founder, Georges Favre-Jacot. At its heart beats the legendary hand-wound calibre 135, restored to remain faithful to the original. The Le Locle based manufacture housed this movement in a classic white gold case, entrusting the dial’s design and execution to independent Japanese master craftsman Naoya Hida. For Zenith, he created a distinctive silver dial featuring engraved hour markers filled with urushi lacquer.
